Foundation of Niese Family Medicine
My wife Emily and I (Zach) founded Niese Family Medicine in July 2021 with a goal of increasing access to quality, affordable care to patients in the area. Over the years we have seen many social, physical and economic factors preventing our friends, family and neighbors from reaching the care they need. I can’t tell you how many times friends or family members have come to me over the last few years with illnesses or ailments that require prescription medications, lab work, imaging or an in-office procedure, only for me to have to refer them back to their family physician or nearest emergency room to be treated. Just the other day I had a friend tell me that he spent $1400 and 3 hours at the emergency room to get 3 stitches put in his hand-something I could have done myself for a fraction of that price.
Ultimately, this is why we created Niese Family Medicine. I understand as much as anyone the frustration with our current overpriced and inconvenient healthcare system and would like to be able to help people out as much as I can. Education/Background
I received a bachelor's of science from Ohio Northern University and two masters degrees from Case Western Reserve University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the last 3 years I have gained vast experience working in different urgent care, family medicine and occupational health settings.
Emily obtained her bachelors in nursing through Toledo University and has spent the last few years working on a cardiac unit in a hospital setting.

Some of the constant frustrations I see from working in our healthcare system are the ever-increasing costs and the fact that no healthcare facility can ever give patients a direct quote on how much their services will cost. This is mostly due all of the red tape and hoops we have to jump through in order to bill a claim through insurance. At Niese Family Medicine we decided to do away with the insurance headache and advertise our prices up-front which allows us to provide much cheaper rates. See below for rates.

Setting up a virtual health visit is easy. First, give us a call or email and we can set up a time that works for both of us. We have the option to do a telehealth visit or a virtual visit if necessary, depending on the case. If a virtual visit is necessary we will either call you or text you a link to join a virtual health meeting.

Feel free to give me a call at any time to set up an office appointment. Our office is located at our home residence our office is located next to our house. We have all of the supplies to offer most of the services you would normally receive from your family physician's office.
